The first time we set foot in Cambodia was back in the 90s when the country had just opened up to tourists. And when Angkor Wat was still not fully explored. Fast forward and we have traveled from the Lao border to the capital on dirt roads, and we have stayed at the finest barefoot luxury retreats in the Southern Islands.
